Fall Education Workshop – Small Business

We are excited to host our very first Education Workshop to help you meet your continuing education requirements to maintain your certification, designation, or just to learn something new or refresh information you’re already familiar with.  Check back often to see what topics we’ll be discussing.

Who Can Attend:  Any small to mid-sized business owner and their staff!  Businesses do not need to be part of the wedding industry.

Date/Time:  Tuesday, 17 September from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (check in between 8:15 a.m. and 9 a.m.)

Location: Bella Capri Inn, 2050 Ventura Blvd, Old Town Camarillo

Joelle Duff is the lead wedding planner and stylist for A Charming Occasion, but she’s also a bloggercalligrapher, and lover of all things beautiful. For over five years now, she has created events of all types, from corporate banquets to intimate dinner parties, bridal showers to rehearsal dinners, and even her own wedding.


Alison Friedman owns and operates The Wedding Yentas and is a wannabe Carrie Bradshaw of all things wedding! Alison began planning her wedding at the age of 5 with the help of her Barbie and Ken dolls. She always loved everything about weddings and dreamed of finding the man to sweep her off her feet who would complete the most important element of the wedding day: love!

 Currently, Pillow is the founder, president, and chief executive officer of Caddy Marketing and Communications, Inc. (CMAC), a full-service marketing, public relations (PR), and social media consulting firm specializing in the planning, development and execution of impactful, cost-effective communications strategies and programs for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) operating in multiple industries.

 Pillow holds B.S. degrees in marketing and international business from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, and a MBA in marketing from the George L.
